Susann Taylor is a multidisciplinary Australian artist living and working on Gadigal Land in Sydney. Taylor is currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in sculpture, at the National Art School and holds Architecture qualifications at the Undergraduate and Masters level.
Taylor’s often site-responsive practice is concerned with mapping somatic, spatial and societal terrains inhabited in response to absence or loss.
Taylor’s work is held in the City of Sydney Public Art Collection and has been exhibited in a number of Australian Galleries. Taylor was awarded the Dr John Vallance Prize for Sculpture in 2022 and an Emerging Sculptor Scholarship in 2012.
